Forklift Operator / Order Picker
Trade & Transport — Lille, France
P-352 · Basic (A2) · 8 openings
A logistics platform on the Lille metropolitan area is hiring forklift operators and order pickers on permanent contracts. You run reach and counterbalance trucks and prepare customer orders by voice picking. The site serves retail distribution across Hauts-de-France and Belgium.
About role
You unload trailers, put away pallets in racking up to 11 metres and replenish picking locations with a reach truck. You prepare orders by voice using a CACES 1 pallet truck, build and film stable pallets, and stage them at the dispatch docks. You log stock movements in the WMS and flag damaged goods and location errors. The platform runs two fixed shifts, 6h to 13h20 and 13h20 to 20h40, alternating weekly, with a permanent night team for those who prefer it. A team leader assigns waves and tracks lines picked per hour against the daily target.
