Order Picker

You pick cartons from pallet racking using a voice terminal and a low level order picker, build mixed pallets for store orders and film them before they reach the despatch doors. Each pallet is weighed and labelled, and the pick list is closed on the terminal before the next one opens. Damaged cartons and stock shortages go to the shift leader within the hour. Shifts run 06:00-13:30 and 13:30-21:00 on a weekly rotation, Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings worked in the weeks before a public holiday.

Compulsory schooling completed and the ability to read a picking list

Willingness to work a rotating two shift pattern, Monday to Friday

Physical fitness for repeated lifting of cartons up to 15 kg

Basic numeracy for counting cartons and checking pallet labels

English at A2 for safety instructions and the shift handover

CACES 1B is welcome, training on the picker is given on site

Reliable attendance, the despatch window closes at a fixed hour

Net salary from 1520 up to 1670 EUR per month

Agency assignment of six months with a permanent option after it

CACES 1B and 3 training paid after the trial period

Work clothing, safety shoes and gloves supplied and replaced

Pickers who obtain CACES 1B and 3 move onto the reach truck and the receiving bay, which is the usual route towards a team leader post on the despatch shift.

The hall is a covered ambient warehouse with marked aisles, pedestrian lanes separated from the truck routes and gas heating through the winter. A high visibility vest, safety shoes and cut resistant gloves are mandatory inside the building.
