Forklift Driver
Trade & Transport · Marseille, France
JB-859 · Basic (A2) · 8 openings
A distribution platform in the Arnavaux logistics zone in northern Marseille is recruiting forklift drivers for goods inwards and despatch. The site handles building materials arriving from the port and pallets for regional stores. The posting is an agency assignment of six months with a permanent option.
About role
You unload trailers and containers with a counterbalance truck, check the pallet count and the condition of the load against the delivery note, and put the goods away in the racking with a reach truck. On despatch you pull the pallets for each delivery route, weigh and film them and load the trailer in the order the driver asks for. Entries and exits are booked on a handheld terminal as they happen. You carry out the daily check on your truck and report any fault before starting.
