Cleaning Operative

You empty the bins and sort the waste, dust the desks and the screens, clean the meeting rooms, the kitchens and the sanitary blocks, and wash the floors with a scrubber dryer in the corridors and the entrance hall. Stock levels of paper and soap are checked on each round and reported to the site manager. The cleaning record for the building is signed at the end of the round. Hours are 06:00-09:00 and 17:00-21:00, or a single 13:00-20:30 shift in the buildings that allow daytime work.

No diploma required, training is given during the first week

Ability to follow a cleaning plan and a dilution chart

Careful handling of products and reading of their safety data sheets

Willingness to work early mornings and evenings on a fixed round

English at A2 for safety notices and for the site handover

Discretion, the work takes place in occupied offices

Experience with a scrubber dryer is welcome, training is provided

Net salary from 1510 up to 1660 EUR per month

Permanent contract after a one month trial period

Full time hours on a fixed round, not split across the city

Travel time between the three buildings counted as working time

Half of the TCL transport pass reimbursed

Annual bonus under the cleaning sector agreement after one year

Overalls, gloves and non slip safety shoes supplied and replaced

An operative who takes the machine training and the sector qualification moves to chef d'equipe, planning the round for four or five colleagues and handling the checks with the site manager.

The buildings are heated offices with lifts and a service corridor on each floor, plus a locker room and a products store in the basement. Gloves, an overall and non slip shoes are worn on every round.
