Furniture Carpenter / Cabinet Maker
Wood & Furniture Production — Shkodër, Albania
P-250 · Functional (B1) · 3 openings
A wood and furniture workshop just outside Shkodër needs a carpenter who can read a cutting list and turn it into a finished cabinet. Steady year-round orders, real tools, and a foreman who actually knows the trade.
About role
You will work mostly on kitchen and wardrobe units, building carcasses from melamine and MDF panels and fitting solid oak or beech fronts. A normal day runs from cutting panels on the beam saw and edgebander, through drilling for hinges and shelf pins, to assembling and dry-fitting before delivery. You handle hardware too: soft-close hinges, drawer runners, handles, and the odd built-in that has to be scribed to a crooked wall on site. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30, with the occasional Saturday morning when a kitchen install is booked. Most of the work is in the workshop, but a few times a month you go out with the install crew to fit what you built. You measure twice, you keep your bench tidy, and you do not pass a piece on with a chipped edge.
Who's a fit?
At least 2 years building cabinets or fitted furniture

Daily van to and from the site
Hot lunch provided on workdays
Health insurance from your first month

Promotion terms
You start at 690 euro net while the foreman watches how clean your work is and how you handle a full kitchen on your own. Hold the standard for six to nine months and pay moves up to 800 euro net. Carpenters who can run an install on their own get first pick of the lead-hand spot when the next workshop fills up.
Work environment
The workshop is a roofed hall with proper extraction, so the dust stays under control even on a heavy cutting day. It gets warm in summer and cold in the morning in winter, and the floor is concrete, so good boots matter. The crew is small, around eight people, and everyone knows what the others are working on.
