Delivery Van Driver

You load the van against the delivery notes at the depot, check the quantity and the expiry dates, then run the route in the order the list gives. At each shop you unload, have the note signed, take cash or a card payment where the customer pays on delivery and bring the returns back. Before you leave you check tyres, oil and lights and write the kilometres in the log. The route runs 07:00-16:00 from Monday to Friday, with Saturday until 13:00 twice a month.

Category B licence held for at least three years

At least two years driving a van in city traffic

Clean driving record and a certificate of no criminal record

Careful with delivery notes, cash and card receipts

Able to lift boxes of up to 25 kg through the route

Basic English for labels and navigation apps

Net salary from 680 up to 750 EUR per month

Permanent contract with social and health insurance from the first day

Company van and a fuel card, no private car used for work

Drivers who keep a clean route for a year move to the intercity run with a larger vehicle, and the company pays the category C training for those who want it.

The day is spent in the cab and on the pavement at each stop, in city traffic and summer heat, with an air conditioned van. A hand trolley is provided for the heavy drops and gloves for the loading.
