Production Shift Supervisor

You open the shift with the line check, place the operators, and hold the plan hour by hour on the board. When a filler or a labeller stops, you are the first at the machine with the maintenance technician and you decide whether the line runs on or waits. You sign the HACCP and cleaning records, log every stop with its cause, give the incoming supervisor ten minutes of handover, and raise a report when a batch is held. Shifts are 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 with a weekly rotation, plus a night shift in the peak weeks.

Technical diploma, or equivalent experience on the line

At least three years in production, one leading a shift

Reading a production plan and reacting to a stopped line

HACCP and hygiene rules inside a food plant

Calm with people on a paced line, new starters included

B1 English for machine manuals and visiting technicians

Net salary from 1490 up to 1640 EUR per month

Permanent contract under the food industry collective agreement

Shift and night supplements paid on top every month

13th month payment and a plant result bonus in spring

Canteen meal at 1 EUR on every shift

Paid supervisor path: HACCP, safety and team leading

Work clothing, safety shoes and hearing protection provided

A supervisor who holds the plan and the paperwork moves to department manager on the packaging side, the route the current plant manager took. External courses are paid.

The packaging hall is cooled to 12 degrees, with washable floors, guarded conveyors and a heated break room. Coat, hair net, hearing protection and safety shoes are mandatory and supplied.
