Assembly Line Operator

You work one station on a paced belt with a cycle time of about 70 seconds. You pick the parts from the kit box in the set sequence, clip and screw them with a torque controlled driver, and confirm the torque signal before the carrier moves on. You scan the module label, place the finished unit on the trolley and flag a fault with the andon cord so the team leader can react. Housekeeping at the station is part of the job. Shifts are 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00 on a weekly rotation.

Compulsory schooling completed, no previous factory experience required

Manual dexterity and steady hands for small connectors

Willingness to work three rotating shifts including nights

Ability to hold a fixed cycle time without falling behind

English at A2 for the safety briefing and the work instruction sheet

Good eyesight for colour coded cables, corrected sight is accepted

Reliable attendance, since the line runs with a fixed manning

Net salary from 1460 up to 1605 EUR per month

Permanent contract after a three month trial period

Night shift supplement and overtime paid at the contractual rate

Canteen on site with a subsidised hot meal on every shift

Company transport from the Lingotto interchange on the night shift

Paid induction on the station and on the quality standard

Work clothing, safety shoes, gloves and ear protection supplied

Operators who learn several stations become line relief workers, and from that role the plant fills its team leader positions on the belt.

The hall is a heated assembly building with anti fatigue mats at each station, adjustable bench heights and a measured noise level under 80 decibels. Safety shoes, gloves and ear protection are mandatory.
