Food Production Operative
Production & Manufacturing · Parma, Italy
JB-583 · Basic (A2) · 10 openings
A pasta and sauce plant in the Parma food district is adding operatives to its filling and packing lines. Three shifts with a weekly rotation, a permanent contract after the trial, and a canteen inside the plant.
About role
You run a filling and capping line: feeding jars, setting the date coder, watching fill weight on the checkweigher, and clearing a jam before it becomes a stop. Every hour you take a sample, weigh it, check the seal and write the result in the control sheet. At the end of the shift you strip the machine for the wash down team and hand over what the next shift needs to know. Three shifts rotate weekly, 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00, with supplements on the last two.
