A specialized precision machining company in Kranj is looking for an experienced lathe operator to work on conventional and CNC lathes. We produce components for German partners in hydraulics and mechanical engineering. Join a team of true craftsmen.
About role
The lathe operator will manufacture rotational components per technical drawings with high tolerances (IT6-IT7). Work on conventional lathes and Mazak Quick Turn CNC lathes. Tasks include machine setup, cutting tool selection, machining parameter optimization and measurement with precision instruments. Cooperation with quality control on DIN ISO 2768-fH standard.
Who's a fit?
Completed mechanical engineering education
3+ years of experience on conventional or CNC lathes
Knowledge of Sandvik, Iscar, Walter cutting tools
Reading technical drawings with geometric tolerances
Working with measuring instruments (micrometer, dial indicator)
Basic Fanuc or Mazatrol controllers
Technical precision and autonomy
