Electrical Installer

You will install and connect electrical systems on site: laying cables, mounting conduit and trays, wiring sockets and switches, and assembling distribution boards. You will read electrical drawings and work to SIST and IEC standards. Tasks include first-fix and second-fix installation, testing circuits, and final measurements before handover. Most projects are within a 50 km radius of Kranj, with occasional jobs in Ljubljana. You will work in a two-person team with a skilled lead and report to the site supervisor.

Completed vocational education in electrical installation (SSI/SPI) or equivalent experience

Reading electrical drawings and single-line diagrams

Installing distribution boards, cable trays, sockets, switches, and lighting

Knowledge of SIST and IEC wiring standards

Valid NPK for electrical work or willingness to obtain it

Category B driving licence

Basic English (A1/A2) for product labels and datasheets

Net salary 1600-1920 EUR (10% above market average)

Permanent contract after a 3-month trial period

Day shifts only, no night work

After two years you can train into a lead installer role running your own two-person team. The company also covers the course for the electrical inspection (pregledniško) licence.

Work is split between active building sites and finished interiors, with proper PPE supplied. The team is small and the same crew works together on most projects.
