We are hiring a MIG/MAG welder for a structural steel and sheet-metal shop in the Brescia industrial belt. The work is steady carbon-steel and stainless fabrication for EU machinery and automotive-supply orders. Modern Fronius and Lincoln Electric stations, fixed day shift, full safety kit provided.
About role
You will weld carbon-steel and stainless components with MIG/MAG (process 135/136) on Fronius TransSteel and Lincoln Electric stations, reading isometric drawings and welding symbols before each batch. Daily tasks cover tack-welding assemblies on jigs, running fillet and butt welds in PA and PB positions, light grinding, and visual self-inspection against WPS sheets. Production runs in a single fixed day shift, Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00, inside the Brescia Sud industrial zone. You work from a job traveller that sets the order quantity and material thickness, typically 3 to 12 mm plate. A welding coordinator signs off first-article pieces and dimensional checks happen on a granite table with calipers and gauges. Output feeds powder-coating and assembly lines on site, so clean, repeatable beads matter more than speed.
