Warehouse Operative
Trade & Transport — Madrid, Spain
P-324 · Basic (A2) · 4 openings
Steady warehouse work at a logistics site just outside Madrid, with proper training before you touch a single pallet. No Spanish needed to start and no warehouse background required.
About role
You spend the shift moving stock around the warehouse floor, picking orders from racking, scanning items with a handheld terminal and getting them ready to load. Pallets come off the trucks at the loading bays and you break them down, sort the goods and shelve them in the right aisle. Once you have the licence you also run a pallet truck and, later on, a counterbalance or reach forklift. The site works in two shifts, usually 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm on a weekly rotation, Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday when orders pile up. A team leader walks the floor and sets the picking lists for the day. Expect to be on your feet the whole shift and to hit a steady pace, not a sprint.
