MIG/MAG Welder
Metal Industry — Brașov, Romania
P-253 · Functional (B1) · 4 openings
A metal fabrication company just outside Brașov needs MIG/MAG welders for steady production work. Clean indoor hall, real machines, pay that sits above the local average.
About role
You weld carbon steel and structural parts using MIG and MAG processes, mostly on jigs and fixtures set up at your station. A typical day runs in two shifts, with the morning crew starting around 6 and the afternoon crew taking over until late evening. You read the drawing, set your wire feed and gas, run the bead, then check it against the spec before it moves down the line. Plate thickness ranges from light sheet up to heavier 10 to 15 mm sections, so you switch settings through the day. Grinding, tacking and basic fit-up are part of the job, and a supervisor checks key welds before they go to paint.

Functional English (B1) for shop instructions
Benefits
Relocation handled and paid by the employer

Promotion terms
You start at 1580 net per month. After a probation period and once your welds pass inspection consistently, pay moves up toward 1820 net. Welders who take on harder joints and certify on new processes are first in line for lead positions.
Work environment
The hall is enclosed and heated in winter, with extraction at each welding bay to pull away fumes. The floor is well lit and kept tidy, and you get the protective gear you need. Noise and heat come with the trade, so ear and eye protection are worn at all times.
