CNC Lathe Operator
Metal Industry · Cluj-Napoca, Romania
JB-738 · Basic (A2) · 5 openings
A machining workshop in the Someseni industrial zone is hiring CNC lathe operators for its turning cell. The shop turns shafts, bushings and hydraulic fittings in steel and brass for machine builders in Transylvania. Permanent contract and paid training on the machine.
About role
You set the bar or the chuck, call up the programme for the order, load the tools to the tool table and run the first piece. That first piece is measured with a caliper, a micrometer and a bore gauge against the drawing, and you correct the offsets until it is inside tolerance. Then you run the batch, check every tenth piece, change an insert when the finish dulls, and log the count and the tool changes on the job card. Deburring and the final visual check are yours. The shift is 06:00-14:00 with a second shift added when the order book is full.

Willing to take a second shift when the order book is full
