MIG/MAG Welder

Most of your day is spent welding mild steel and structural sections for frames, brackets and light fabrication. You read the drawing, prep the joint, set your wire speed and gas, then run the bead. Material thickness usually sits between 2 and 12 mm, so you switch between thin sheet and heavier plate through the day. You grind and clean your own welds before they go to the inspector, and you flag anything that does not fit the spec. The line runs a single day shift from 7 to 16 with a lunch break, plus paid overtime on busy weeks. You work to your own torch but the workshop keeps the consumables and gas stocked.

You start at 830 EUR net and move up to 950 EUR net once you hold quality and speed on your own. The employer reviews welders after the first few months and again at a year. Take the lead hand role on a bay and the top of the band is yours.

The workshop is a covered hall with welding bays, fume extraction and overhead lighting. It gets loud and warm in summer, so the employer hands out the gear and keeps water nearby. The site sits a short ride from Durrës with the housing close by.
