CNC Laser Cutting Operator

You load sheets on the laser table, call up the nesting programme for the order, set the gas and the focus for the thickness in front of you, and start the cut. While the machine runs you break out the parts, deburr the edges, count them against the cutting list and stack them on the pallet for the next station. You keep the lens and the nozzle clean, top up the nitrogen and log every plate used against its order number. The shift is 08:00 to 16:00 from Monday to Friday, with the Saturday morning paid at overtime rate when a delivery is due.

Trade school in mechanics, metalwork or electrical, or equal practice

One year on a CNC machine, laser or punch or bending

Reading a cutting list and a simple part drawing

Careful with a caliper, a tape and part counts

Clean habits with the lens, the nozzle and the gas bottles

Basic English for the machine menus

Driving licence B is useful, the park is outside the city

Net salary from 568 up to 625 EUR per month

Permanent contract after a three month trial

One day shift only, weekends free except when a delivery is due

Paid training on the fibre laser with the machine supplier

Hot meal and coffee in the plant canteen

Company bus from Korce centre and from Maliq

Safety glasses, gloves, shoes and work clothing provided

An operator who learns the nesting software takes over programming for the second machine, and the plant fills its shift lead seat from the cutting floor. The supplier course in Tirana is paid.

A closed cutting cell with its own extraction, a fenced laser cabin and a marked walkway to the stacking area. Safety glasses, gloves and shoes are mandatory and the employer supplies them.
