Truck Driver (CE License)
Trade & Transport — Bologna, Italy
P-242 · Functional (B1) · 3 openings
A transport company near Bologna needs a CE driver who knows how to keep a heavy combination moving on time. Steady routes, proper trucks, and a wage that sits above the local rate.
About role
You run an articulated truck on regional and national distribution lines, mostly out of the Interporto hub east of the city. Most days start early, between five and six, with a pre-trip check, then loading of palletised goods onto a curtain-sider or a reefer. You handle the tail lift, secure the load with straps and bars, and keep the paperwork and CMR documents in order at each drop. Driving and rest times run on the digital tachograph, so you plan breaks around the rules, not against them. Some routes are single-day round trips inside Emilia-Romagna; others run north toward Milan or Verona with one night out. You report damage, keep the cab clean, and flag any fault before it turns into a breakdown.

Real experience driving articulated trucks, not just rigids
Confident with load securing, tail lifts and pallet handling
Able to read CMR and delivery paperwork and keep it tidy

Clean approach to driving hours and tachograph rules
Benefits
Relocation support and help with the paperwork to move to Italy
Shared accommodation arranged for the first months

Promotion terms
You start at 2300 EUR net per month. After a settling-in period and a clean record on hours, deliveries and vehicle care, the wage moves up to 2650 EUR net. Drivers who take on the longer national routes get first call on the better-paid runs.
Work environment
Work is based at a logistics depot with loading bays, a yard for the trailers and a driver room. Hours follow tachograph rules, with early starts and the odd night out on the road. It is a busy site, so you are on your feet for loading and securing, then in the cab for the long stretches.
