Warehouse Order Picker

You pick spare parts from pallet racking with a voice headset and a low level order picker, scan every line, and build the pallet by weight so nothing is crushed in transit. Each order is weighed, wrapped on the stretch wrapper and staged in the outbound lane with its label. At the end of the shift you count two racking aisles and report any gap to the shift leader. Shifts run 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 with a weekly rotation, and Saturday overtime is voluntary and paid at the collective agreement rate.

Compulsory schooling completed, no diploma required

Six months in a warehouse or a distribution centre

Pickers who learn the reach truck move on to reach truck driver within a year, and the warehouse takes its team leaders from the shift floor. The company pays the forklift licence course.

A dry, heated hall with marked pedestrian lanes, mirrors at every aisle end and a separate charging room for the trucks. High visibility vest, safety shoes and gloves are mandatory and supplied.
