MIG/MAG Welder
Metal Industry — Kragujevac, Serbia
P-220 · Basic (A2) · 4 openings
A metal industry company near Kragujevac needs MIG/MAG welders for steady, full time work. If you can read a drawing and lay a clean bead, the line is open.
About role
You will weld steel subassemblies and frames in a covered production hall, mostly carbon steel from 3 to 12 mm. Work is gas shielded MIG/MAG on semi automatic machines, with the wire feed and gas mix set by the shift leader. Each day you read the drawing, tack the parts in the jig, check the fit, then run the full weld and grind back any spatter. You work to a daily piece target and the welds go through visual and dimensional checks before they leave your bay. Shifts rotate on a two shift pattern, roughly 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday, with Saturday overtime when orders pile up.
Who's a fit?
At least 2 years welding MIG/MAG on steel
Able to read basic technical drawings and weld symbols
Comfortable working in fixtures and jigs to set tolerances
Clean, tidy beads with minimal grinding needed
Willing to relocate to Serbia and work rotating shifts
Basic English is enough, no certificate required
Benefits
Relocation handled and paid by the employer
Shared accommodation near the plant, no rent deducted
Factory bus from the housing to the gate
One hot meal per shift in the canteen
Private health insurance from your first month
Promotion terms
You start at 1270 euro net per month. Once you clear the trial weld tests and hit the quality target steadily, pay moves up to 1470 euro net. Welders who take on harder seams and help train new arrivals are first in line for the raise.
Work environment
The hall is covered and heated in winter, with local fume extraction at each welding station. You get full protective gear, an auto darkening helmet, gloves and a leather apron, and the foreman is on the floor if a setting needs fixing. It is loud and the work is physical, so steady hands and good lungs matter.
