CNC Machine Operator

Set up and operate CNC lathes and machining centers, load programs, mount tools and fixtures, and run series production from technical drawings. Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges, make small offset corrections, and keep tolerances within drawing limits. Maintain tool condition and report wear.

2 to 3 years operating CNC machines, ideally Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Siemens controls. Confident with technical drawings and measuring tools. Knowledge of G-code basics is a plus. Functional English (B1) for control menus and tooling catalogs. Two-shift availability.

Path: CNC Operator → CNC Setter (after 12 to 15 months) → CNC Programmer or Shift Lead (after 30 months). The company pays for CAM and controls training, which is what leads to the higher pay band.
