CNC Maintenance Mechanic
Metal Industry · Bitola, North Macedonia
JB-599 · Functional (B1) · 2 openings
A machining plant in the Zhabeni zone outside Bitola is looking for a maintenance mechanic for its CNC lathes and machining centres. Two mechanics cover the plant between them, one on days and one on the afternoon shift, with the manufacturer service courses paid.
About role
You keep twelve CNC machines running: planned service by the hour meter, oil and filter changes, greasing the guideways, checking spindle run out with a dial gauge, changing belts, seals and pumps, and cleaning the chip and coolant system. When a machine stops you read the alarm on the control, check the electrical cabinet with the electrician, replace the part from stock and write the fault, the cause and the repair into the machine book. You order spares from the plant office, keep the small workshop tidy and take a share of the standby phone at weekends.

Promotion terms
The plant grows its maintenance lead from the bench, and the mechanic who takes on the spare parts stock and the service plan is the first in line. Courses on drives and on machine geometry are paid.
