JB-596 · Basic (A2) · 6 openings
A steel fabrication shop in the Vizbegovo zone north of Skopje is taking on MIG/MAG welders for load bearing frames and tanks. The contract is permanent from the first day and the shop pays for the welder certificate exam and its renewal.
About role
You weld carbon steel and stainless plate from 3 to 12 mm in MIG and MAG on jigs prepared by the setter. The day covers reading the fabrication drawing, tacking the assembly, running the fillet and butt welds, grinding the seam where the drawing asks for it, and checking the joint by eye against the welding procedure sheet. You clean the torch, change the liner and the tips yourself, and hand the trolley of finished frames to the paint shop with the order number written on the tag. Two shifts rotate weekly, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00, and the shift leader signs off the first piece.
