A cleaning contractor working for food and metal plants in the Bunardzik zone near Skopje is taking on industrial cleaners. The contract is permanent, the shifts are fixed for a month ahead and the company transport runs to every site in the zone.
About role
You clean production halls, changing rooms, canteens and offices to a written plan for each site. The work covers washing and disinfecting food contact surfaces, machine housings and floors, emptying the waste by fraction, refilling soap and paper, and scrubbing the halls with a ride on machine where the floor allows it. You mix the chemicals to the dose on the card, never by eye, keep the cleaning log for the hygiene inspection and report a broken tap or a burnt out light to the site leader. Two shifts, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00, with weekends on a rota.
Who's a fit?
Primary school finished, no previous experience required
Reading the dose on a chemical label and following a cleaning plan
Physical work on your feet with mops, hoses and a scrubbing machine
Reliability with keys, alarm codes and locking up after the shift
Health certificate for work in food plants, paid by the employer
Two shift rotation and weekends on a published rota
Basic English for chemical labels and safety pictograms

Promotion terms
A cleaner who knows the plan of a site becomes site leader for a crew of six within two years, and the company pays the course for machine floor cleaning and for work with disinfectants in food plants.
Work environment
Production halls with wet floor signs, a locked chemical store with a dosing station and a heated room with lockers and a shower. Uniform, gloves, rubber boots and eye protection for the diluting station are supplied by the employer.
