A well-known machinery manufacturer in Augsburg is looking for industrial mechanics for assembly and maintenance. Solid tariff pay and a workshop where craft still counts.
About role
Assemble machine components, set up and adjust production equipment, and carry out planned maintenance and repairs. You read technical drawings, measure with calipers and gauges, replace worn parts, and document maintenance in the system to keep the line running.
Who's a fit?
Completed training as an industrial mechanic or similar, with 2 or more years of practice. Confident reading technical drawings and using measuring tools. Basic German (A1/A2) for work orders. Willing to work in a two-shift system and physically fit.

Promotion terms
Defined growth: Industrial Mechanic → Senior Mechanic for setup and commissioning (after 12-15 months) → Team Lead Assembly (30 months). Hydraulics and welding certificates paid by the employer.

Bright machinery workshop with CNC-supported assembly and modern handling equipment. Two-shift system Monday to Friday, mechanic team of 10-12, well-ordered shopfloor with a strong safety culture.
