Injection Moulding Operator

You start the machine on the set programme, watch the first pieces of every run against the reference part, and trim the gate and the flash where the drawing allows it. You keep the hopper fed with the right granulate and masterbatch, log the dryer temperature, and record cycle time and scrap on the machine sheet each hour. When a tool is changed you help the setter fit the mould, connect the water and check the ejector stroke before the first shot. Three shifts rotate weekly, 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00.

Vocational certificate in plastics, mechanics or a related trade

At least one year on injection moulding or a similar machine

Reads a part drawing and works to a reference sample

Confident with a caliper and with a simple gauge

Willing to rotate three shifts, nights included

Clean habits with granulate, hoppers and mould surfaces

Basic English for the machine menus

Net salary from 905 up to 995 EUR per month

Permanent contract after a three month trial

Afternoon and night shift supplements paid on top of the base wage

Cafeteria benefit on a SZEP card, credited monthly

An operator who takes over tool changes on their own becomes a moulding setter within two years, and the plant pays for the process technician course in Kecskemet.

A warm hall where the machines stand in rows with granulate silos overhead, and hot surfaces are guarded and marked. Safety shoes, heat resistant gloves and glasses are mandatory and supplied by the employer.
