Food Production Operator

You work a station on the line: filling trays to the set weight, feeding the sealing machine, checking the seal and the date code on every tenth pack, and packing the finished trays into crates for the chiller. You change the film reel and the label roll yourself and call maintenance when the machine stops. Hand washing, hairnets and the metal detector check are part of every start up, and the temperature and weight readings go into the self monitoring log. Three shifts rotate weekly, 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00, and the night shift carries a supplement.

Completed basic school, no food qualification required

Hygiene passport, or willingness to take the course in the first month

Ability to keep a steady pace at a line speed set by the machine

Careful reading of weights, date codes and batch numbers

Willingness to rotate morning, afternoon and night shifts

Basic Finnish or English for the self monitoring log and safety signs

Net salary from 1885 up to 2073 EUR per month

Fixed term contract for twelve months with full insurance from day one

Evening and night shift supplements paid on top of the hourly rate

Workers who learn the sealing and labelling machines move to the machine operator seat, where the job demand group is higher, and the plant fills its line leader posts from the lines themselves.

A cooled production hall kept between 6 and 10 degrees, with washable floors, a hygiene lock at the entrance and a heated break room. Work clothing, hairnet, gloves, hearing protection and safety shoes are issued daily.
