CE Category Truck Driver

You take the load from the terminal, check the documents and the seal, secure the cargo with straps and corner protectors and drive the route in the planner. Before moving you walk around the vehicle, check tyres, lights and coupling and log the result. You manage the tachograph yourself, keep to driving and rest times and note fuel and tolls on the trip sheet. At the delivery point you take part in unloading and get the consignment note signed. The roster is five days with two consecutive days off, and night runs are voluntary.

CE category licence and a valid driver qualification card

Digital tachograph card and knowledge of driving and rest rules

At least two years of experience with a semi trailer

Functional English for consignment notes and border paperwork

ADR training is an advantage but is not a condition

Net salary from 1650 up to 1880 EUR per month

One tractor unit per driver, kept and serviced by the company

Work clothing, gloves, safety shoes and a high visibility jacket provided

Drivers who keep a clean tachograph record and no damage claims move to the long distance roster, where the daily allowance is higher. The company also trains drivers as dispatchers.

A modern tractor unit with air conditioning, a parking heater and a sleeper cab, plus a heated driver room at the terminal with showers. A high visibility jacket, gloves and safety shoes are worn in every yard.
