Food Production Operator

You feed the line with packaging material, follow the filling head and the sealer on the screen, and take a sample every hour to check the weight and the seal. When the format changes you help the setter swap the format parts, then run the first pieces and show them to the line leader. You keep a paper log of stops and of what was produced, clean the machine at the end of the shift and hand it over to the next operator. Two shifts run 07:30-15:00 and 15:00-23:00 with a weekly rotation, and Sunday is free.

Primary or secondary school, no trade certificate needed

Operators who learn the format changes move to machine setter within two years, and the plant pays the food hygiene course that the position requires.

A lit production hall kept at about 20 degrees, with noise from the fillers, so ear plugs are worn on the line. Work clothing, hair net, gloves and safety shoes are provided and washed by the plant.
