A building contractor working on residential sites in the Vallecas district of Madrid is taking on bricklayers for structure and closing work. The current sites are five storey blocks with underground parking. Permanent contract and pay under the Madrid construction agreement.
About role
You lay brick and block for facades and partitions, set out from the mason's line and the level, and keep the course height to the drawing. You mix or receive the mortar, cut with the table saw, place lintels and leave the openings at the dimension the carpentry needs. At the end of the day you clean the tools, cover the fresh work in cold weather and clear your own waste to the skip. Site hours are 08:00-17:00 from Monday to Thursday and 08:00-15:00 on Friday, under the site foreman.
