Production Operator

You feed the press hoppers with granulate, start the cycle from the operator panel and take finished parts off the conveyor. Every hour you measure a sample with a caliper, compare it with the control sheet and record the result. Rejects are separated for regrind and the cause is reported to the line setter. You change the packaging cartons, keep the station clean and hand the line over with a written count at the end of the shift. Shifts run 05:00-13:00, 13:00-21:00 and 21:00-05:00 on a weekly rotation.

Compulsory schooling completed, no diploma required

Willingness to work a three shift rotation including nights

Ability to read a control sheet and record a measurement

Steady hands for handling small moulded parts at line speed

English at A2 for safety instructions and the written handover

Previous factory experience is welcome but not required

Standing work for most of the shift

Net salary from 1550 up to 1705 EUR per month

Permanent contract after a two month trial period

Night and shift premiums paid on top of the base rate

Thirteenth month payment after one year of service

Operators who learn the mould change and the start up sequence move to a line setter post, which is the normal progression in a plastics plant and is trained inside the company.

The workshop is enclosed and heated, with mechanical extraction above the presses and marked walkways between the lines. Ear protection, safety shoes and heat resistant gloves are worn at the machine.
