Industrial Electrician

You answer line stoppages, trace the fault from the drawing and the fault code, then repair or replace what failed: a sensor, a contactor, a motor connection or a limit switch. Between calls you work the planned maintenance list, checking terminal tightness, insulation readings and thermal images of the main panels, and you sign every job into the maintenance log. You isolate and lock off before any work inside a panel, and larger interventions on the drives are done with the maintenance engineer. Three shifts rotate weekly.

Secondary technical school in electrical engineering

At least three years maintaining industrial plant

Reading a wiring diagram and a PLC input and output list

Safe isolation and lock off, measuring with a multimeter and a clamp meter

Willingness to rotate three shifts including nights

English at B1 for manuals and fault code lists

Net salary from 602 up to 662 EUR per month

Electricians who take the PLC course move onto the automation team and onto commissioning work on new lines. The plant pays for the course and for the periodic electrical safety examination.

A production hall at 20 to 24 degrees with lockable panels, a separate electrical workshop and a tool store. Insulated gloves, an arc rated jacket, glasses and safety shoes are mandatory and supplied.
