Injection Moulding Operator

You run three or four injection presses, load the granulate and the colour masterbatch, start the cycle from the saved programme and take the shot out or clear the drop box. Every hour you gauge a part with a caliper against the control plan, cut the sprue, and put a rejected shot in the marked bin with the reason written on the tag. Mould changes are done together with the setter, and you help with the crane and the water couplings. Two shifts run 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 with a weekly rotation.

Trade school in mechanics, plastics or electrical work, or equal practice

At least one year on injection moulding or a similar machine

Reading a control plan and using a caliper

Careful handling of hot moulds and hot runner nozzles

Willingness to rotate two shifts weekly

Basic English for the machine menus

Net salary from 528 up to 581 EUR per month

Operators who learn mould changing and dryer settings move to setter inside two years, and the plant pays for the internal metrology course.

A clean moulding hall with a granulate line overhead, an extraction hood on every press and ear protection at the grinder. Heat gloves, glasses and safety shoes are mandatory and supplied by the employer.
