CNC Machine Operator

You load the blank, zero the tool, start a proven programme and take the part out at the end of the cycle. Every fifth part goes on the surface plate for a check with a caliper, a micrometer and a bore gauge against the drawing tolerance, and the reading is written on the control card. You change worn inserts, correct the tool offset within the limits you are given, and call the setter when the programme itself needs editing. Two shifts run 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 with a weekly rotation, and you report to the shift setter.

Trade school in machining or mechanics, or equal practice

At least two years on a CNC lathe or milling machine

Reading a technical drawing and tolerance symbols

Caliper, micrometer and bore gauge used with confidence

Willingness to rotate two shifts weekly

English at B1 for the control menus and the tooling catalogues

Net salary from 546 up to 601 EUR per month

Operators who learn tool setting and simple programme editing move to setter within two years, and the shop pays for the CNC programming course in Bitola.

A machining hall with enclosed machines, coolant extraction, a separate measuring room kept at 20 degrees and a swarf bay. Glasses, gloves and safety shoes are mandatory and supplied by the employer.
