Truck Driver C+E

You load or supervise the loading of a curtainsider, secure the freight with straps, bars and anti slip mats, and run a route given to you the evening before. The day starts with a walk around check of tyres, lights, coupling and the securing kit, and the tachograph card goes in before the first move. You keep the CMR and the delivery notes in order, have them signed at every stop and hand them to dispatch on return. Most runs are out and back within the shift, and a regional route is two nights away at most.

C+E driving licence and a valid professional competence card

At least two years driving an articulated vehicle

Drivers with two clean years move onto the regional routes to Thessaloniki and Belgrade, which carry the higher daily allowance, and the firm pays for the dangerous goods course for those who want the tanker work.

Tractor units with a sleeper cab, air conditioning and a parking heater, and a fenced yard at the Ilinden base with showers and a driver room. Vest, gloves and safety shoes are mandatory and supplied.
