Packing Line Operator
Production & Manufacturing · Setubal, Portugal
JB-774 · Basic (A2) · 20 openings
A packing plant near Praias do Sado at Setubal fills and boxes household and food products for retail customers. It is taking on line operators for filling, labelling and palletising, on two shifts. Permanent contract and paid training on the line.
About role
You take a position on the line: feeding empty containers, watching the filler for level and seal, checking the label for the right batch and date, and closing and taping the case at the end. Every hour you pull a sample, weigh it and write the result on the control sheet. Finished cases are stacked on the pallet to the pattern, wrapped and labelled for the warehouse. A changeover means clearing the line of the old code before the new one starts. Two shifts run 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.
