Production Operator

You work one station on the line: components fed to the machine, boards taken from the conveyor, connectors fitted, screws torqued to the setting and the unit clipped into the test fixture. The tester passes or fails each unit and failures go to the repair bench with the code written on the label. You count your own output, keep the station stocked from the supermarket rack, and record the first and last serial number of every batch. Three shifts rotate weekly: 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00.

Basic schooling and the right to work in Portugal

Assembly or production experience is welcome, training is given

Good close vision and steady hands for small components

Able to keep the line rate through a full shift

Willing to rotate three shifts, including nights

Basic English for work instructions and machine screens

Net salary from 870 up to 957 EUR per month

Permanent contract with Social Security from the first day

Shift supplement on the afternoon and night rotations

Meal allowance of 6,15 EUR for every worked day

Company transport from Braga and from Vila Verde on every shift

Paid training on the line, on soldering and on the test fixtures

Work clothing, antistatic coat, glasses and safety shoes provided

Operators who hold the rate and the quality record move to the repair bench or to line setting within a year. Setters are trained inside the plant and the company pays the soldering certification.

A clean assembly hall with antistatic flooring, seated and standing stations, extraction over the soldering points and a steady temperature. Antistatic coat, glasses and safety shoes are mandatory and are supplied by the employer.
