Construction Painter

You prepare before you paint: masking, sanding, filling cracks and holes, and priming bare plaster or metal. Interiors are rolled in two coats with cut in edges by brush, ceilings first and walls after. Exteriors are done from a scaffold or a suspended platform, washed, treated for mould and finished in acrylic. You mix to the colour sheet, keep a wet edge, and clean the tools at the end of the day. The site runs 08:00-17:00 with an hour for lunch, and the crew leader checks each room before handover.

At least two years painting on building sites

Net salary from 850 up to 935 EUR per month

Painters who deliver clean rooms without rework take the crew leader role on a block of their own within two years. The company pays for the working at height card and for a spray application course.

Occupied and empty apartment blocks, with scaffolding or a suspended platform on the facades and dust sheets inside. Harness, helmet, mask, gloves and safety shoes are mandatory on every site and are supplied by the employer.
