Hotel Room Attendant

You take your floor list at the start of the shift and work through departures first, then stayovers. Each room is stripped, the bathroom cleaned and restocked, the bed made to the house standard, surfaces dusted and the floor vacuumed. You check the minibar and the amenities, report a broken lamp or a dripping tap to maintenance on the same sheet, and hand lost property to the governess. A full room takes about 25 minutes and a stayover about 15. The shift is 08:00-16:30 with one weekend day off in rotation.

Basic schooling and the right to work in Portugal

Hotel or cleaning experience is welcome but training is given

Support with the residence paperwork for workers arriving from abroad

Attendants who hold the standard for a year move to floor supervision or to the linen room, and from there to assistant governess. The hotel pays the hygiene and chemical handling courses that step requires.

Guest floors served by a service lift and a trolley, with a linen room and a chemical store on each level. Gloves, a tabard and closed non slip shoes are mandatory and are supplied by the hotel, and the cleaning products are dosed automatically.
