Forklift Driver

You check the truck at the start of the shift, the forks, the mast chains, the horn and the battery charge, and sign the daily check sheet. Through the shift you unload trailers at the dock, put pallets away in the racking position the terminal gives you, and bring pallets down for picking and for dispatch. You keep the aisles clear, report a damaged pallet or a bent beam before you use the location, and swap or charge the battery at the end of the shift. The three shifts run 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00 with a weekly rotation.

Valid ISCIR forklift authorisation, or willingness to take it

At least one year on a counterbalance or reach truck

Confident lifting to the top beam of a six metre rack

Able to read a racking location from a hand terminal

Willing to rotate three shifts including nights

Basic English for terminal menus and safety signs

Clean criminal record, required by the customers

Net salary from 701 up to 771 EUR per month

ISCIR authorisation course and renewal paid by the employer

Permanent contract after a three month trial period

Meal tickets for every worked day

Paid night supplement on the third shift

Company bus from Timisoara centre and from Ghiroda

Work clothing, gloves, high visibility vest and safety shoes

A driver who adds the VNA truck to his authorisation moves to the narrow aisle team and onto the higher rate, and the site fills its shift leader posts from the warehouse floor.

A high bay warehouse at a steady temperature, with marked aisles, mirrors at every corner, a charging bay for the batteries and a canteen next to the changing rooms. High visibility vest and safety shoes are mandatory.
