Truck Driver (C+E)

You drive a curtain sided semitrailer on domestic routes, mostly Arad to Timisoara, Sibiu and Bucharest, with two or three nights out a week. The day covers the walk around check, the load plan from the dispatcher, strapping and securing the load, the CMR and the delivery papers at every stop, and the tachograph discipline that keeps driving and rest times legal. Delays and damage are reported by phone on the same trip. Loading and unloading is done by the warehouse crews, and the truck stays with the same driver.

Category C and C+E licence with a valid CPC card

Valid tachograph card and a clean driving record

At least three years on a semitrailer in domestic haulage

Load securing with straps, and reading a load plan

CMR and delivery notes filled in correctly at every stop

English for short conversations at depots and border crossings

Willing to spend two or three nights a week on the road

Net salary from 894 up to 985 EUR per month

Daily allowance paid on top of the salary for nights away

Permanent contract, salary paid on the tenth of the month

The same truck kept by the same driver, not swapped weekly

Fuel card, parking and truck washing paid by the company

Medical check and CPC renewal paid by the employer

Two free weekends a month planned into the schedule

Drivers who stay a year can move to the international routes, where the allowance is higher, or into the dispatch office. The company pays the ADR course for anyone who wants the fuel and chemical work.

The fleet is under six years old, with air conditioning, a fridge and a parking heater in every cab. High visibility vest, gloves and safety boots are provided, and each depot has a driver room with showers.
