Parcel Delivery Driver

You load the van at the depot against the scan list, order the parcels by the sequence of your route, and drive a fixed district through the day. At each stop you scan the parcel, collect the signature or the code, and handle cash on delivery where the order carries it. Undelivered parcels come back to the depot the same evening and are scanned in before you finish. The route runs 08:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday, with Saturday morning worked in rotation during the peak weeks in December.

Category B driving licence held for at least two years

Confident driving a 3,5 t van in city traffic

Able to lift parcels of up to 30 kg repeatedly

Careful with scans, signatures and cash on delivery

Knowledge of the Bucharest street network is an advantage

Basic English for the scanner menus and address labels

Clean criminal record and a clean driving record

Net salary from 760 up to 836 EUR per month

Permanent contract after a three month trial period

A driver who learns the sorting desk takes over route planning for his own district, and the depot fills its dispatcher posts from the drivers. The category C course is paid after two years.

A depot with a covered loading dock, roller conveyors and a marked parking yard, then the city route for the rest of the day. Safety shoes and a high visibility jacket are mandatory and are supplied by the employer.
