Construction Labourer

You work with a mason or a carpenter through the day: mix mortar to the ratio the foreman sets, carry block and reinforcement to the working face, strike and clean formwork panels, and keep the floor clear of offcuts and packaging. You help move material with the hoist, load the skip and sweep down the level before the crew leaves. Tools are counted back into the container at the end of the shift. The site works 07:00-16:00 from Monday to Friday, with Saturday paid separately when a pour is scheduled.

No trade qualification needed, training is given on site

Physically fit for a full day of carrying and mixing

Able to follow instructions from the foreman without argument

Work at height on a scaffold, with training provided

Reliable time keeping, the crew starts together at 07:00

Basic English for material labels and safety signs

Willing to take the safety induction in the first week

Net salary from 570 up to 627 EUR per month

Contract from the first day at or above the construction sector minimum

Paid mason or formwork qualification course after six months

Helmet, harness, gloves and safety boots provided

A labourer who takes the qualification course moves onto the masonry or formwork crew and onto the trade rate within a year. The contractor pays the course and the examination.

An open building site with scaffolding, a material hoist and a heated cabin, so the work follows the weather through the year. Helmet, harness, gloves and safety boots are mandatory and are supplied by the employer.
