A steel fabrication workshop in the Brasov industrial belt is taking on MIG/MAG welders for its two shift line. The work is structural steel and sheet subassemblies for customers in Germany and Austria, on a permanent contract after a paid trial month.
About role
You weld carbon steel and sheet parts in MIG/MAG, mostly fillet and butt welds on jigs, following the weld map on the drawing. A shift covers tacking the assembly on the fixture, setting wire speed and gas flow, welding in the sequence that keeps distortion down, grinding the spatter off and checking the throat with a weld gauge. Faulty seams are ground out and rewelded the same day, and each frame is signed off before it moves to the paint line. Two shifts rotate weekly, 06:15-14:45 and 14:30-22:45, and the team leader hands out the daily list at the start of each shift.
