A metal pressing shop in the Krsko industrial zone is taking on press operators for its two shift line. The work is cold forming of steel brackets and housings for household appliance makers, on a permanent contract signed on the first day.
About role
You run an eccentric press of 63 to 160 tonnes with progressive dies on steel strip. The day starts with a check of the die, the strip feed and the lubrication, then the first three pieces go to the measuring bench for a caliper check against the drawing. During the run you watch for burr, feed slip and cracked edges, stack finished parts in KLT boxes and record the counter reading for each order. Setters change the tools, you assist and keep the die area clean. Work runs 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 with a weekly rotation, and you report to the press shop leader.
