Warehouse Handler

You pick and move food orders across a dry zone and a chilled room. The day covers taking the order list from the terminal, picking cases onto a pallet in the sequence the van is loaded, wrapping and labelling the pallet, and taking it to the right bay with a hand pallet truck. You check dates and case counts against the note, set damaged stock aside for the supervisor, and help unload the incoming lorries in the afternoon. The shift is 06:00-14:00 from Monday to Saturday, with one free day a week that moves through the rota.

Primary school finished, no trade qualification needed

Able to lift cases of up to 20 kg through the whole shift

Comfortable working in a chilled room at 4 degrees

Careful with dates, case counts and the picking list

Basic English for the terminal and the safety notices

Willing to work Saturdays inside the weekly rota

A forklift licence is welcome but not required

Net salary from 535 up to 590 EUR per month

Handlers who pick accurately are sent on the forklift course at the company's expense and move onto the loading team. Both shift supervisors in this warehouse started here as pickers.
