Heating and Sanitary Installer

You install water, waste and heating systems in new blocks and in refurbishment work. A normal day covers marking out the runs from the drawing, cutting and welding polypropylene pipe, fitting manifolds, radiators and sanitary ware, then running the pressure test and writing the readings into the handover sheet. You work in a pair, with a site manager who hands out the drawing and the material in the morning and signs off each riser. Hours are 08:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday, and Saturday work is by request and paid separately.

Qualification as a sanitary or heating installer

At least five years on site, two of them on heating systems

Polypropylene welding and press fittings on multilayer pipe

Reading an installation plan and setting out from levels

English for short site talks with the project manager

Category B licence is an advantage, the van is provided

Available for sites across Bucharest and Ilfov county

Net salary from 1146 up to 1260 EUR per month

Permanent contract, salary paid on the fifth of the month

Meal vouchers of 40 lei for each day worked

Power tools and a company van for the crew

Travel inside Bucharest reimbursed on the monthly pass

Paid leave above the legal minimum after the first year

Work clothing, gloves and boots with a puncture resistant sole

Installers with a clean record take over a crew after a year and move to the coordinator rate, with a supplement on top of the salary. The company pays the ISCIR authorisation and the gas boiler course.

Work is inside closed buildings with site power and a working hoist, plus a prefabrication bay where pipe runs are made up before they go upstairs. Helmet, gloves, goggles and steel toe boots are supplied by the employer.
