Truck Driver C+E

You drive a 40 tonne tautliner combination on runs of one to three days. The day starts with the walk around check, the tyres, the lights and the load securing, then loading at the terminal or at the customer, and the paperwork: CMR, delivery note and the customs file on regional runs. You strap and corner protect the pallets yourself, keep the tachograph card in order, respect the driving and rest times and report a delay to dispatch by phone. Between runs you refuel, wash the unit and hand the truck over clean, with the fuel receipts filed.

Driving licence C and C+E with a valid code 95

Tachograph card and at least two years on international or domestic runs

Load securing with straps, corner protectors and anti slip mats

Filling in a CMR and a customs file without help

Willingness to sleep away from home two nights a week

Clean driving record and a medical certificate for professional drivers

English at B1 for border crossings and consignment papers

Net salary from 529 up to 582 EUR per month

Daily allowance for every night spent away, paid in cash

Permanent contract and a fixed pay date every month

Code 95 training and the medical certificate paid by the company

Trucks up to five years old with air conditioning and a parking heater

Weekend at home on the regular domestic rota

Work clothing, gloves, high visibility vest and safety shoes provided

Drivers who know the regional routes take the better paid runs to Greece and Bulgaria first, and a driver who wants to come off the road can move into dispatch, which the company staffs from its own cab.

A fenced terminal with a lit loading yard, a driver room with a shower and a washing machine, and a workshop that keeps the fleet on the road. Vest, gloves and safety shoes are worn in the yard and supplied by the employer.
