Furniture Bench Joiner
Wood & Furniture Production · Treviso, Italy
JB-576 · Basic (A2) · 4 openings
A joinery workshop north of Treviso builds fitted wardrobes and kitchen fronts for Italian retailers. Four bench joiners join the assembly bay on a permanent contract, with a paid month to learn the house standards.
About role
You work from a cutting list and a shop drawing: squaring panels on the sliding table saw, edge banding, boring hinge and shelf holes on the drill press, and dry assembling the carcass before glue up. You fit hinges, drawer runners and handles, check diagonals and gaps with a rule and a feeler gauge, and sand the visible faces before the piece goes to the finish room. Small solid wood repairs and the occasional site measurement come with the job. One shift, 08:00-12:00 and 13:00-17:00, and the workshop lead signs off each carcass.
