Cleaning Operative

You empty and sort the waste bins, wipe desks and meeting tables, clean and restock the washrooms, wash the kitchen surfaces and refill the dispensers. Floors are vacuumed daily and the hard floors are scrubbed with a machine twice a week. You sign the floor check sheet, report anything broken to the site supervisor and keep the cleaning cupboard ordered and locked. Products are used at the printed dilution. The shift is 06:00-14:00 on weekdays, with a Saturday deep clean once a month.

Compulsory schooling completed, no previous experience required

Physical fitness for a standing shift with trolley and machine handling

Ability to read a product label and follow the printed dilution

Reliability with keys and access badges to occupied offices

English at A2 for the safety data sheets and short exchanges with staff

Willingness to start at 06:00, before the offices open

Discretion about documents and objects left on desks

Net salary from 1250 up to 1370 EUR per month

Permanent contract at 40 hours a week under the multiservizi agreement

Public transport pass for the Milan urban area paid by the employer

Paid training on products, machines and chemical safety

Fixed morning shift, so the afternoon stays free

Uniform, safety shoes and gloves supplied and replaced

Overtime for the monthly deep clean paid at the contractual rate

Operatives who handle the scrubbing machine and the check sheet well are trained as site team leaders, who plan the round and order the supplies.

The buildings are heated offices with lifts and a service cupboard on each floor. The round is walked with a trolley. Uniform, closed non slip shoes and gloves are provided, and the chemicals arrive already dosed.
